Sam Worthington

Friday, May 29, 2009 10:42 PM

Hi. Hello.

I just got back from my 3 day stay at my cousin's place. It was fun, really. At least I wasn't bored there (although I felt like I was being burnt alive. Literally.) I hogged on their PlayStation 2, playing tonnes of Guitar Hero III, The Sims 2 Castaway and of course Dynasty Warrior 6 (finally managed to get pass a certain level, after trying for God knows how many times). Hogged on their Internet too, reading Vampire Knight on Onemanga.com.

Oh and saw Angels & Demons with them. Saw Terminator Salvation last night. It. Was. Awesome. You HAVE to watch it. Sam Worthington (or how you spell it, idk) is hot. He is the ultimate hero in the movie not Christian Bale. Christian, darling, I love you as John Connor, but Sam is the hero. Hehe.

Tomorrow pulak, I'm going off to my aunt's place somewhere in Damansara, and then attend a kenduri kahwin on Sunday somewhere in PJ, then come back to (maybe) my cousin's place.

Haihh, I miss my friends. Aida, Denon, Qeena, Aliaa, Linda and Ariffah. I miss you girls. :(

Apocalyptica feat. Corey Taylor (Slipknot) - "I'm Not Jesus"

You guys HAVE to listen to that song. Yum. So so sooo good.

Saw Angels & Demons last night with the cousins. It was good, I love it. Also, we bought tickets to Terminator Salvation so yeah. T4 tonight, nyahahaha.

NEXT MONTH! Transformers! WOOOHOOOOOO! Can't fucking wait. ;)

I feel like crying.

I've decided to make this place private, so that I can rant away about anyone without having to care if they gonna read it or not. So, yeah. Leave me your emails at the comment box below or at the Tagboard and I'll add you to the reading list or whatnot.

Slow ride... Take it easy...

Saturday, May 23, 2009 10:49 AM

I am currently listening to Adam Lambert's version of "No Boundaries". The studio version of that song. AND ZOMG, he killed it. His voice is so bloody good.

'Kay, enough of the Adam Lambert talk.

.

.

FYI: I'm not going for Freedom 09. So stop asking. It's a waste of money, really, going for something that plays music that I don't like. So there. I'm not going.

Aida's Little Farewell.

Friday, May 22, 2009 8:34 AM

Went out with Denon and Aida yesterday. And I told them off to specifically do not bring up the American Idol topic. For obvious reasons, heh. We teman-ed Denon to do some account-opening work, then we headed to Jusco (kt mana lagi nk lepak kt Seremban ni haa, haha). We lazed around at Mickey Ds, talking shit and everything. Then picked up Effah from KGV (she's in Form 6), went to her place, lazed around at her room (specifically, bed), ate french fries that her lil bro fried for us (so sweet), then head off to PD (because we were so bored) and lepak-ed there for a bit. Went to some stall there and just had a drink, talked more shit (we talked about drugs at one point and the mak cik sitting next to our table terus blah, haha) (I was imitating a crystal meth user, LOL) (NO I DON'T DO DRUGS), went to the beach, took pictures, went crazy, played with the water.

Drove back to Seremban at around 6.30 PM, arrived at Parkson at 6.45PM, lepak-ed with Ferol for a bit. 8.00 PM we went to Kemayan Square (because we thought of eating there, but we didn't), went to City Park, played with the excercise thingies until 8.30 PM, went to a restaurant behind JJ, behind the mamak restoran, ate there and laughed our asses off like silly babboons, went to Tesco (Effah wanted to buy 1) Magazine 2) burger), sent Effah home and finally Denon sent me home. Arrived home at around 10.30 PM.

All in all, we had fun. I thought I was gonna cry because it'll be my last time hanging out with Aida before she goes off to UiTM this Saturday, but surprisingly I didn't. We all didn't. We laughed like silly chimps all the way back. It's ridiculous.

Picture of the day. <3

Quote of the day:
Effah: *points* Ade anjing ah kt laut! Anjing laut!

ROFLLMFAO.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM!

Un-fucking-believable

Thursday, May 21, 2009 10:10 AM

Unbelievable.

Congrats to Kris Allen who won the bloody thing. Too bad that you'll only just become another "Jason Mraz" on the airways. We have a lot of that playing on the radio, thank you very much. That's why I don't like listening to the radio.

Adam Lambert on the other hand, yes, some of you might think he "over the top" or "too much", but that's showmanship. At least his performances are exciting. When was the last time he got a bad comment from the judges? NONE! The only comments that are considered "bad" are he is too theatrical. OF COURSE HE IS! He performed in plays prior to joining American Idol, duh!

I don't even remember that song that Kris Allen sang yesterday. I remember all of Adam's performances because he NEVER puts up a dull show.

Kris Allen can't even sing the song that Kara co-wrote. The notes were too high for him. Adam fits perfectly.

But I guess Adam's too good for American Idol. If he ever comes out with a record, it'll be a full-fledged Rock album, and rock music rarely gets it into the airways anymore. Except for "rock" shits by Daughtry (who sounds more and more country by the day), One Republic (who only got famous because of Timbaland) and freaking The Fray.

SLASH WAS A FAN OF ADAM TOO! Adam performed with fucking KISS! And hit the high notes of Queen's "We Are The Champions". Kris can't do that. Kris' vocal range is nothing compared to Adam's vocal range.

Just so you know, I am a fan of Adam and will always be a fan of Adam. I've liked him since I saw his audition. He will go far in the industry, you can bet on that. Gay or not, he's the one.

I shall go now and continue listen to Slipknot.

P/s: And please lah, Adam haters, stay away from the comment box. Every one has their own opinions, and since this is MY blog, I will post whatever the fuck I want.

Wednesday, May 20, 2009 7:49 AM

Saw Star Trek with mum and dad last night. I remember watching a few episodes of the old Star Trek with dad (dad's a huge fan). But the movie is good. I like it. I like the fact Chris Pine and Zach Quinto is in it, hehe. So hot. Love them both. Ohhh, and Chris' blue eyes... yum!

Angels & Demons next week with the cousins. Terminator Salvation with cousins as well. Transformers & Harry Potter with Aida and Denon :D

Are you ready for the time of your life?

Tuesday, May 19, 2009 8:42 AM

New layout here, folks. Featuring the sexiness Synyster Gates and Zacky Vengeance. Sexy guitar duo. Mainly of Syn, though, but I couldn't fight the urge to throw in a picture of Zacky and Syn together, hehe.

Gotta love Slipknot, really. I've been listening to them for two days in a row and I honestly have no idea why. I managed to download "All Hope Is Gone" and I'm a happy kid. Am gonna download "Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses" soon.

Thursday is Aida's little farewell. She's off to UiTM this Saturday and I is very sad. :'( We're spend the whole day with her and then we're gonna have dinner together and probably talk about all the memories we had together. Am gonna tear up for sure :( Aida, asal kau nk bla awal sgt doe! Bile turn aku nk masuk uni nnt aku sorang je, tkde org nk farewell kan aku. :(((

Ahh, emotional stuff.

Marco Pierre White

Sunday, May 17, 2009 12:33 AM

I am tired. So fucking tired out of my fucking mind. I drove my parents around the whole day today and now I'm regretting the fact that I volunteered to be their driver for the day. -___- Hours spent looking at other car's bumpers and back tyres and tiring. Pity my eyes.

Anyways, I stayed up just to watch Hell's Kitchen UK's repeat on AFC. I must say that I prefer Marco Pierre White as the head chef. I hate Gordon Ramsay; I hate his guts. I hate the fact that he swears a lot and I don't like it when there are hundreds of bleeps in a sentence. At least Marco isn't all that foul mouthed.

My cousin, Izuan said, "Muka die macam setan seh." Haha!

I am listening to The Sleeping, their song called "The Climb". Sooooofuckingggggoood!

I was contemplating of entering Form 6 at KGV, although I didn't get any offer for Form 6. But mum said that she can ask around and try to pull me in for Form 6. I don't want to do Form 6 for the whoke fucking year, just for 2 months, while waiting to enter Limkokwing. But meh, kinda lazy lah pulak. But I get bored easily lah at home. -____-

Just another burst of thoughts

Tuesday, May 12, 2009 10:12 AM

Regarding Nisshant's post, I feel like I want to blog about something similar than that. Congrats to those who got JPA. For those who didn't get them, well, don't fret. Do your best in whatever you're doing now and more doors will be opened to you in the future.

I've always feel so disappointed in myself with the fact that I only got 4As, 4Bs and 2Cs. And the 4Bs were all B3s. I could've easily get A2s for History, Agama, Chemistry and BM. Thus, I would've gotten 8As instead of 4. But I decided life has got to move on. Then I got rejected by bloody UiTM. That was a slap and a punch to my gut. I was so sad, to the point where I cried for two days in a row. I suppose a National Debate certificate, and an A1 for English O Levels weren't enough to do a TESL course. And then I decided, life has got to move on.

Just because I didn't get UiTM, it's not the end of the road for me. Then I got Matriculation. Science, 1 year. And I landed the IJN Nursing interview. Both of which I declined.

I believe that God has bigger plans for us all. If I didn't get any place in Public instituitions, including Form 6, then it's okay. I am bummed as hell that my parents have to spend so much on my education, but that's what you get when you're not a Malay. I may speak and look like a Malay, but the record says otherwise. So who am I to go against that?

My final blow was when I found out I didn't get Form 6. At least if I get that one, I can spend 2 months doing something in school while waiting to enter Limkokwing. Mum told me those who got Matriculation, will not get Form 6. So again, God has bigger plans for me.

I suppose it is my fate to further my studies in a Private instituition, like my cousin did. He didn't get UiTM. And he got 5As, and really good grades for Add Maths and Physics. He didn't get to do Engineering course at UiTM.

So my point is, God has greater plans for us all. If we get rejected by something, just keep your head held up high. Forget about the past, just focus on how to further your studies. I've planned to enter UiTM ever since I was in Form 3. I admit, at one point I was being very over confident with the fact that I can enter UiTM, no matter what. So by getting rejected by UiTM was a big wake up call for me.

Maybe this isn't my place to say all this stuff because I'm Farhana. The daughter of a Guru Cemerlang Biology. The girl who skips class a lot in 2007. The girl who never studies and is bad at academics.
Everyone expect me to do good. My mum's other top ranking friends always ask "Your daughter sure get straight As for SPM, right?". My mum would always reply back "She's not a straight As student, she would always manage 1 or 2 the most. But for SPM she got 4As, and I'm very happy with her." Mum's friends would always go, "Oohh..." Just that.
Just because my mum's a big time Biology teacher, it doesn't mean I can turned out to be just like she is now. I hate living under that expectations.

I know every one at school would go, "4As, je? She didn't study lah tu." Well, I'm sorry that God decided not to give me a bigger brain. I know you guys know that I'm not intelligent that's why I didn't get a single scholarship. But knowing that, knowing that I only managed to get 2A1 and 1A2 (excluding my A1 for EST) why do you keep tagging me about JPA scholarship lah, that scholarship, this scholarship? Why do you keep on talking about how your interview went? Do you even think about how I'd feel? How crushed I feel because I didn't get any scholarships let alone an entrance to any public university? How devastated I feel because my parents now have to fork out tonnes of money to send me off to a private university?

C'mon guys. All I'm saying is if you get shutted out, don't fret. Another door of opportunity will open up, maybe not in 1 week or 1 month. Maybe next year you'll get a better chance of getting what you want. Keep your head help up high and remember this: God has a bigger and better plan for us all.

I just downloaded MSN Live Writer, and I’m testing out if it works, lol. I apologise if it doesn’t. I just want to make a huge shout out to my Momma. HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! Glad you liked the card I bought for ya. She said that she feels like crying, lmao, when I gave her the card, haha. :)

Does anyone know which boutiques that

sells super cheap clothes/accessories in KL (preferably somewhere in Bangsar or Bkt. Bintang)?

Last but not least:

ZOMGGGGGGGGGGG

Friday, May 8, 2009 8:55 AM

For those huge Gambit fans (and I'm talking those of you who have been a fan of Gambit since before the movies came out). Read the following:

The plans to make X-Men: First Class, X-Men Origins: Magneto, and Deadpool, should X-Men Origins: Wolverine have a successful opening weekend, have already been documented, but apparently another X-Men movie is being discussed, this time focusing on the Cajun, card-playing Gambit. Wolverine and X-Men producer Lauren Shuler Donner told IESB that there are "internal discussions" regarding a Gambit spin-off and "they are going to figure all that out." Shuler Donner hopes that maybe Bryan Singer would return to direct:

Nothing would please me more than to bring Bryan [Singer] on for another movie. And, if it's like the first Deadpool or the first Gambit, I think, I mean, I hope he would be interested...
This is good news for Taylor Kitsch, the actor playing Gambit, who told MTV would "love to go darker" with a Gambit movie:

I want to go into the Thieves Guild part of his story [the union of thieves that Gambit was raised in]. How cool would it be to see him stealing things to survive because the stakes are so high? Come on, Fox, let's do it.

YAY YAY YAY!

I was really satisfied enough that they included Gambit in the fourth movie and the fact that Taylor Kitsch played Gambit so so soooo well. The only thing that I wasn't happy about it was the fact that his Cajun accent wasn't so obvious and the fact that he got soo little screen time! They should, y'know, go deeper into Gambit's history and how he became part of X-Men. Plus his relationship with Rogue and stuffs. That would be awesome. Awesome awesome.

But I REALLY REALLY HOPE (and I'm going to pray for it to happen) that Gambit spin off would be made soon. I want more of my muscle flexing, card throwing, kinetic energy charging, staff spinning, Cajun hunk. But please lah wehh. This time, make the accent more apparent!

Look what I got for Mum!

Thursday, May 7, 2009 11:52 AM

Awww, so sweet kan? Mcm budak kecik, seh. But no worries, I'm a kid at heart :D. Heh. Sorry ah mum, I couldn't afford anything above RM5 at the moment, so a card from Memory Lane it is! Lately mum has been really grumpy and I is hating it. Probably because of her work stress and stuff. When mum gets grumpy, Ana gets grumpy too and that's badddd. Hopefully mum's grumpy-ness will fade a bit once she gets this card on Sunday.

Mum doesn't know it yet that I bought a card for her. I think this is the second time that I bought something for her for Mother's Day. What an accomplishment it was!

Now you lot should call her up and wish her on Teacher's Day! Lol.

Oh oh ooohh referring to the previous post with a spiffy picture of Gambit (yum). I remember when I was a little kid I used to throw playing cards around and waving a stick like some psychotic mofo trying so hard to be like Gambit. I was a tomboy back then; I grew up with my two cousins (boys)  so I tend to act like one, lmao. Taylor Kitsch played Gambit soo soo good. ILOIKES.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine

7:48 AM

Saw X-Men Origins: Wolverine yesterday with Aida and Denon. Gosh, it was awesome. I am very very satisfied that they included Gamit in this movie as Gambit has been my favourite character ever since I first saw the cartoon version of X-Men. They should've included Gambit in the first three movies, y'know. And they should show the fact that Gambit and Rogue was an item but nooo. They just had to pull out Gambit from the first three movies. But no worries. They included him in the fourth one. :) My life is complete.

New layout. I love the overly bright colours against dark backgrounds so here it is. :)

I'm off to watch more X-Men & Harry Potter stuffs on Youtube as well as downloading more pictures. :)

Rated LR for "Long Rant"

Wednesday, May 6, 2009 8:50 AM

I know that my spoken English is not that good but I can safely say that my written English is okay-ish (never better than *cough*Vikram*cough* but better than most Malays lah) (admit it weh, some Malays knows nothing about good English).

Switching to "Ana the English Language Elitist" mode.

This is what annoys me the most. Random Malay dudes added me on Myspace. They started commenting with me. I commented them back. And the conversation moves to a healthy chat session at YM or MSN. Normal lah kan to insert a few random English words in a string of Malay sentences. And then tiba-tiba lak the next sentences from this guy all comes in in English. I had a bit of a laugh then since his English was bad. Like really bad. He said something like this:

Him: I'm hungry. I feel I have butterfly in my stomach.
Me: (being all English elitist at that moment) Asal you nervous pulak?
Him: Huh?
Me: Ye lah, you said you had butterflies in your stomach. Nervous lah tu. Why?

Kalau English kau bagus aku tk kesah lah. Ni ayat mcm kena Tsunami berterabur.

So snap out of it. I don't judge people based on their first language. For me, English is my first language since I speak in English even at home and most of my primary school years. But c'mon ah weh, if you're fluent in Malay, talk in Malay. If you're fluent in English, then by all means talk in English. I don't care. As long as you speak in a languge that I understand.

Tamil and Malyalam doesn't count. I can't differentiate between them but I can understand A BIT ONLY, so don't be a genius to try and talk with me using them.

Next up, lame questions and lame flirting sentences.

I'm sure most of us girls get this one in many social networking sites. I feel that it's downright stupid and ridiculous. Dulu I layan jugak all these stuffs just to have fun while at the same time expectine nothing in return. Now I'm purely bored of it all.

If you want to know, I've only had 1 relationship in the past which only lasted for 3 weeks. Am I proud of it? No. Do I regret any of that? No. Sure, I regret having a relationship with that particular person, and I regretted having it lasted for 3 weeks only. But hey, just because it lasted for 3 weeks, it doesn't mean that we weren't in love. I wasn't in love. I liked him a lot lah, tu je. But in a way I learned a lot from that relationship.

That was 2 years ago. So why don't I have a bf now? Probably because I've come to a phase where I don't mind being single. I love being single. I'm not looking for anyone just yet. I love the fact that I can do whatever I want without having to report to a particular person of all the things I'm doing. That's a violation of my own freedom. I hate being chained down by another person, especially a guy.

Anyways back to my point. That's the reason why I don't do lame flirtings, lame one-liners, lame pick up sentences, lame bf questions, everything. I get bored of the same old shit they ask.

I love replying comments from people who posted long-assed comments on my profile. Long comments with substance. Of course lah if that person comment about him all the time naik bosan jugak ah aku bace.

Next, online popularity. Haaa, ni aku nampak everywhere. Poorly edited pictures to show yg dorang ni hot and all. Making 1000 albums for each and every places they went. And then adding people just for the sake of asking them to comment their pictures. Gosh, I hate people like this. It shows that you guys have no real life with no real friends. I do take pictures with my friends when we go out, but I don't make several albums with dates on it to show how many times I go out.

SEXIST REMARKS. I fucking hate hate hate this. Y'know it's the so-called "screamo/hardcore" trend now. I love hardcore music, been listening to them for years now. But now that the "trend" has started, guys tend to make sexist remarks against moi! I'll put a song by Emarosa or The Devil Wears Prada and they'll comment "Wow, tdwp eh. Tak sangka girls mcm u pun dgr music cmtu. Biasenya girls dgr hip hop/pop stuff." Well, excuse me for being different then

I've been listening to bands like From First To Last since 2005 lah weh. Korang baru nk start dgr skrg jgn ckp besar lah. Dgr pun band mainstream, TDWP, BMTH sume. Pastu dgr satu lagu je. Excuse me, The Devil Wears Prada? I have 2 of their ALBUMS. You guys dgr Bring Me the Horizon's song Pray For Plagues? I have their entire "Suicide Season" ALBUM. Korang baru je nk obsess with Alesana's song Ambrosia? I have TWO of their ALBUMS. Drop Dead Gorgeous? 2 ALBUMS are in my posession. Emarosa? 1 full ALBUM, 1 EP. 3OH!3 baru kuar Hitz.fm? I have their album since late last year

I'll be very grateful if you keep all the sexist remarks to yourself. Just because I listen to hardcore music and the fact that I was born with a vagina instead of a dick it doesn't mean that I can't listen to good music.

LASTLY, strangers having a say in my life. I hate this the most. Some people ask me which college I'll be going and when I answer politely Limkokwing, what I get in return is nothing but pessimistic and cynical remarks. Some people even say stuff like "Why LKW? Situ dah lah mahal, ramai foreigners. Asal u tk ambik scholarship Astro or 8TV? Asal u tk masuk UiTM or other public Uni? Asal u tk nk masuk private yg lain?"

1) I ONLY HAVE 4As. I'm sorry I didn't get a string of As like YOU did. Hence I can't get any scholarship. 2) I DIDN'T GET UiTM. Public uni mana lagi yg offer mass comm, idiot.

Here's why I can enter Limkokwing. For a 3 year Diploma course for selected courses (including the one that I'm going for, Multimedia, Advertising & Broadcasting) you only have to pay RM24k for the whole course. And when you finish this course you can get an additional 50% discount for the whole Degree course to enter the 2nd year Degree course. All in all, I only have to pay RM39k for 3 years Diploma AND 1 1/2 year Degree. That's even cheaper when compared to UCSI.

Plus, who are you to try and have a say in my life? The last time I remember this is MY education and MY future. I don't even met you before, I don't even know you, you're a complete stranger. On what basis are you telling me how to live my life? C'mon. No more cynical remarks, okay. Advices are appreciated.

Tu je lah kot. Penat type memanjang. I wanted to just rant out about some stupid stuffs that I find annoying. To those who read the whole thing, thanks for lending me your time.  :)

Spaghetti for lunch

Monday, May 4, 2009 1:20 PM

I've start to make icons now. I've been making icons for a few years, and I can assure you that my icon making skills aren't very good. But I'm making them just because I have nothing better to do. I've stopped making them for a few months when I stopped using Livejournal. But since I've closed down my personal blog sites, I figured I might as well start posting icons back, y'know?

Plus, it's a shame to be doing icons just for my MSN, lmao.

Here are some of the icons I've made in the past:

(left to right: 01-02: Jackass Number Two. 03-04: Blake Lively. 05: The Used. 06: Audrey Kitching. 07: Hayley Williams of Paramore. 08: Katy Perry)

Now I'm off to eat Spaghettis for lunch. YUMMEH

I'm Sick an Tired of Everything

I haven't been in a very good mood lately. Everything seems to get on my nerves easily. Every little thing that my parents or the maid do gets on my nerves. I am not the kind of person who would lash out and channel out my anger to everything. I tend to bottle up all my anger and at one point I will just explode and I eventually turn into a human hose pipe. If you know what I mean.

It surely not because I'm having my PMS, I know. It's just that I'm sick and tired of doing practically unproductive stuffs at home. Everything either gets on my nerves or bores me to death.

I tend to surf the Internet for 7-8 hours per day in a month and that eventually lead to the phonebill to be immensely high. No, my Streamyx package isn't the unlimited hours one. It is, in fact, the 60 hours package for RM44 per month. After going online for 7-8 hours per day, I find myself (miraculously) getting bored of it all. I probably saw too many videos on Youtube for the past few weeks. I also read too many articles about Harry Potter stuffs. Too many to the point of it is becoming unhealthy.

Of course, I read the book. Have been a fan of them since 2001. It's just I want to know what happened to the Trio after Deathly Hallows, and such, y'know? (Harry & Ron became Aurors; Harry becomes the head of the department. Shacklebolt is the new Minister. Hermione has a high position in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Harry's children's names are James Sirius, Lily Luna & Albus Severus Potter. Etcetera, etcetera.)

Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy is my favourite name so far.
Can't wait for the Harry Potter Encyclopedia. I know, Rowling said she's gonna give it a good 10 years before publishing it. But hey, I don't mind it. At least she release something Harry Potter related.

(Anyways, back to the purpose of this post.) I just... Idk. I am bored out of my fucking mind and I'm sick and tired of everything. This is partly the reason why I can't wait for 25th July. At least I'll be doing something at university. But of course, I know I will miss my family and my friends but I just want to do something new, y'know?

Times like these are when I really miss going to school and having homeworks.

Adam-o Lambert-o

Friday, May 1, 2009 10:37 AM

WHO THE FUCK DIDN'T VOTE FOR ADAM LAST NIGHT (referring to Americans lah, obv)?! I'm serious weh, my jaw dropped to my toes when Seacrest announced that Matt (Timberfake), Kris and Adam was in the bottom three and my jaw dropped even lower when he announced that instead of Adam, Kris is bloody safe. And I'm like, WHAT. THE. FUCK. How come Adam -- ADAM LAMBERT -- THEE most talented person in the competition can land in the bottom two?! (Sure, sure, Danny was awesome too, but Adam is my fav so shut it)

The moment when Seacrest was about to announce the person who's going to go home was pretty much nervewrecking for me. Probably the most nervewrecking moment for me since the SPM results day. But phewww, Adam's safe

And thank GOD next week's theme is Rock and Roll. Adam's gonna kick everyone's smelly asses *nods wisely*

I swear, I can kill this stupid RM22 mouse that I bought from Times Square. Guys, don't buy anything computer-related from Times Square. Go ahead and walk that extra few steps to Low Yat and buy tech stuffs there.
