Alrighty, so I'ma gonna start a free music giveaway. Why? Because I'd love to share with ya'll some of the bands/artists that I'm obsessing over.
Today it's the Brooklyn, New York based band called MGMT (pronounced as Em-Gee-Em-Tee and NOT "management"). I am currently listening to the first track off of their album as I just got the album. The song that I'll make available for you guys to download is their single "Kids". If you want to listen to the rest of the album, well, GET THE ALBUM YOURSELF!
Because I tend to forget things easily, I made two web pages on my computer, and have it on the desktop so that I'll remember what I'm supposed to do. Lol.
Recently I emailed the people at Fearless Records to ask whether or I not I'll be able to have an email interview with Blessthefall. The next day they replied and said yes and that I can just send them the questions and they'll have the band answer them. I only have 4 questions done, I need 6 more. Help? I suck at interviews, lmao.
Slipknot percussionist Chris Fehn says the band’s new album is likely to come out in 2010, although he refused to confirm how many tracks it will contain.
New album means new tour dates. New tour dates means a small chance Slipknot would perform in Asia. Slipknot in Asia means a 0.1% chance of them performing in Malaysia. Hey, 0.1% chances pun, there are still a small possibility that they MIGHT perform here.

Yeah, I don't know what else to say. I just finished listening to Drop Dead, Gorgeous new album "The Hot N' Heavy" and now I'm listening to Slipknot's "Iowa". Maybe Taking Back Sunday or Green Day next? *winks* BYE BYE!
I saw Avenged Sevenfold's DVD (forgot the title, lmao) at Rock Corner Mid Valley on Tuesday. It was priced at RM19.90. My jaw nearly dropped then. I thought they sell DVDs for over RM100+, especially bands like A7X. I want to try looking for Slipknot's Disasterpieces DVD or or or Green Day's Bullet In A Bible. Hopefully it'll be cheap.
Wait. I can always ask my cousin to download them for free, muahahah.
Anyways. Life has been pretty much boring. Except for the fact that I went to Mid Valley with Denon on Tuesday and went to Malacca with her earlier today. Other than that, life has been pretty much monotonous. And I can feel myself gaining a few inches from my bingeing activity. -.-
I am so bored. Why can't July come a bit more faster? What are you waiting for, Malaysia to fucking snow? *sighs*
OH OH OH and I just read on SK1.com's forums (Slipknot's official fansite) Paul's (the bassist) blog. He said that the band is "trying" to play in Thailand and Malaysia. C'mon, guys, come to Malaysia. You've been to Singapore before, so now it's Malaysia's turn. And PLEASE PLEASE Malaysia, let Slipknot perform here! I'm finally of legal age to see them live! I hate having to see them live on Youtube everyday; that's so pathetic. No Asian dates are included for their All Hope Is Gone tour, so HOPEFULLY when they finally decide to add Asian dates, they'd add Malaysia in their list, yeah? *crosses fingers*
I am currently listening to Adam Lambert's version of "No Boundaries". The studio version of that song. AND ZOMG, he killed it. His voice is so bloody good.

Congrats to Kris Allen who won the bloody thing. Too bad that you'll only just become another "Jason Mraz" on the airways. We have a lot of that playing on the radio, thank you very much. That's why I don't like listening to the radio.
Adam Lambert on the other hand, yes, some of you might think he "over the top" or "too much", but that's showmanship. At least his performances are exciting. When was the last time he got a bad comment from the judges? NONE! The only comments that are considered "bad" are he is too theatrical. OF COURSE HE IS! He performed in plays prior to joining American Idol, duh!
I don't even remember that song that Kris Allen sang yesterday. I remember all of Adam's performances because he NEVER puts up a dull show.
Kris Allen can't even sing the song that Kara co-wrote. The notes were too high for him. Adam fits perfectly.
But I guess Adam's too good for American Idol. If he ever comes out with a record, it'll be a full-fledged Rock album, and rock music rarely gets it into the airways anymore. Except for "rock" shits by Daughtry (who sounds more and more country by the day), One Republic (who only got famous because of Timbaland) and freaking The Fray.
SLASH WAS A FAN OF ADAM TOO! Adam performed with fucking KISS! And hit the high notes of Queen's "We Are The Champions". Kris can't do that. Kris' vocal range is nothing compared to Adam's vocal range.
Just so you know, I am a fan of Adam and will always be a fan of Adam. I've liked him since I saw his audition. He will go far in the industry, you can bet on that. Gay or not, he's the one.
I shall go now and continue listen to Slipknot.
P/s: And please lah, Adam haters, stay away from the comment box. Every one has their own opinions, and since this is MY blog, I will post whatever the fuck I want.

Thursday is Aida's little farewell. She's off to UiTM this Saturday and I is very sad. :'( We're spend the whole day with her and then we're gonna have dinner together and probably talk about all the memories we had together. Anyways, I stayed up just to watch Hell's Kitchen UK's repeat on AFC. I must say that I prefer Marco Pierre White as the head chef. I hate Gordon Ramsay; I hate his guts. I hate the fact that he swears a lot and I don't like it when there are hundreds of bleeps in a sentence. At least Marco isn't all that foul mouthed.

I was contemplating of entering Form 6 at KGV, although I didn't get any offer for Form 6. But mum said that she can ask around and try to pull me in for Form 6. I don't want to do Form 6 for the whoke fucking year, just for 2 months, while waiting to enter Limkokwing. But meh, kinda lazy lah pulak. But I get bored easily lah at home. -____-
WHO THE FUCK DIDN'T VOTE FOR ADAM LAST NIGHT (referring to Americans lah, obv)?! I'm serious weh, my jaw dropped to my toes when Seacrest announced that Matt (Timberfake), Kris and Adam was in the bottom three and my jaw dropped even lower when he announced that instead of Adam, Kris is bloody safe. And I'm like, WHAT. THE. FUCK. How come Adam -- ADAM LAMBERT -- THEE most talented person in the competition can land in the bottom two?! (Sure, sure, Danny was awesome too, but Adam is my fav so shut it)
The moment when Seacrest was about to announce the person who's going to go home was pretty much nervewrecking for me. Probably the most nervewrecking moment for me since the SPM results day. But phewww, Adam's safe.

EHMAGAWD. Have I told you lately that I'm in love? Yes, I am in love. In love with Underoath, that is. Seriously, Underoath is THEE most awesome band on Earth. They are VERY consistent and they manage to produce music that will make you practically addicted to them. I know I am. Ever since I downloaded their new album "Lost In The Sound of Separation", I HAVE to listen to them at least once a day. That bad. Yes.
Both the new album AND the previous one "Define the Great Line" is awesome. If you don't like Underoath, well, TOO FUCKING BAD. They're one of the best Christian bands around. No wait, they ARE the best Christian band EVER.
I'm off to download more stuffs. I saw the link for Bring Me The Horizon stuffs, probably gonna download them. Toodles!
